I just installed a sprintbooser on my 2001 430 about a week ago. I am happy with the result. Throttle response is much better until the pedal is about halfway depressed and after that it is about normal. It is nowhere near uncontrolable like some people try to insinuate. It simply feels like the pedal is more connected to the throttle. The car should have came this way from the factory. Installation takes about 30 seconds. so if you don't like it you can easily remove it.

Mike430 just search sprintbooser on this site. There have been a lot of posts on several of the different pages.

"No" when full throttle with or without sprint booster BUT "YES" when partial throttle. Partial throttle on car with sprint booster, you get an instant throttle response every single time !!! Most people got it from www. slkfans.com

Very easy to install. At first I figured it went on the gas pedal like on the C32 so I dissasembled the under dash cover couldn't see any wires. After that waste of time I popped the hood and right near the brake booster you can see the throttle cable that runs out from the gas pedal and there is a wiring harness where the cable ends. Simply unplug the harness and plug in the sprintbooster. No tools, no hassle, no problems. If it takes more then about 30 seconds you are doing something wrong.

I don't think it increases the 0-60 times at all but it feels quicker because it responds when you hit the gas. No more anoying delay.

I bought mine on the classified section of this page. Alterego was selling a slightly used one. I think Slkfans is the easiest way to go.
