The E-Class Wagon from The Sopranos

Hi, I'm from the Internet Movie Cars Database (IMCDb) a website that lists and shows pictures of cars that appear in movies and TV shows, like IMDB but with cars instead of actors. Can somebody please answer a couple of questions I have about the W124 and W210 E-Class Wagons.

In the HBO TV series The Sopranos, Carmela Soprano drives a silver Mercedes-Benz E320 station wagon during series 1-5. In the first series the first car she uses is a post-facelift W124 (or S124) E-Class Wagon, this appears in a couple of episodes in the first series. After that she is always seen driving her W210 E320 wagon, in later episodes they use the post 2000 facelift version. The Sopranos is set in New Jersey, so what year was the W210 E320 station wagon released in the USA? And which engine sizes was the post 1994 facelift W124 wagon available in in the US?

If anyone could help, that would be great, thanks!

The W210 Wagon was released in 1997 as a 1998 model. We had a '94 W124 E320 wagon, facelifted, and it had a 217 horsepower 3.2 inline 6, only engine available in the US. That engine was used from model years 1994 to 1997 in the E320.

And did the facelifted version of the W210 wagon come out in 2000 in the US?

yes, 2000 year had many changes from interior dash board with information, and also the steering wheels with the info controls. also, the exterior is nicely facelifted including door handles that are now color-matched to exterior color vs. black in the pre-2000 models.

both are great cars, just a bit of cosmetics imho.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it introduced in Fall 2002 as a 2003 model?

Initially, I know the 5.0L V8 was introduced...soon after, the 5.5L V12 was incorporated into the line-up. The AMG 5.5L S/C V8 was thrown in the mix as well.
