Installed Philips BlueVision 4000k halogen bulbs...

Today I spent a lot of time trying to tackle the dreaded 'lamp failure' message. In the tail lights I found various bulbs with bad contacts, or that had started to turn black inside the glass. When that was all fixed I found out one of my headlights also failed! I decided to replace everything with Philips Bluevision bulbs. They are THE halogen bulbs providing HID-like daylight color and are ECE R37 Approved for use on roads in Europe...

Nice! I'm waiting for Philips Blues for my City/Standing lamps to come from England, for some reason they're not readily available here. I got the "Lamp Failure" message all the time while I was trying to use LEDs - big pain! Plus, the lEDs were alwys coming out of the socket. Finally went back to the yellowish bulbs - then I got another "Lamp Failure" message, but this was from a corroded fog light lead. Can't wait for th new Philips bulbs for my "inner eyes"!

Can you please post a picture of the headlights lit up during the day? Also could you post a picture of the headlights shining something at night? I'm debating on whether those are better than silverstars and whether or not to change. Thanks

I'll try to take a daylight pic later this week, maybe I can take a night pic tonight but in the pic already posted it's already getting pretty dark ouside. I haven't done the fogs yet, kinda forgot about them actually! But they will be done later on. I'll turn them on in the pics for comparison. The city lights are BlueVision as well ofcourse otherwise it would look dumb!

yea, it looks very nice. Here is mine right now with silverstars. The fogs are silverstars too.

it's preety white, but yours look a bit whiter I think.

and when I said "night pic" I meant of the projection, facing the car towards a wall and turning on the headlights and taking a picture of the wall. That way, i can see how white the actual output is. Looking forward to your pictures

The silverstar output is great, I don't know anything about the BlueVision seeing as Iv'e never seen them, or I have but I didn't know it was bluevision.
