A/C dust filter

A/C dust filter
My 2002 E320 is due for a "B" service. About the only thing in the service I don't know how to do is to replace the dust filter in the A/C. Anybody done it? I'm thinking about doing the service myself. The car only has 48K miles.

Just remove the glove bax and there right behind it. There are 6 phillips head screw holding the glove box in. 2 on the top outside, 2 on the top inside and 2 on the bottom inside. After removing all six screw, jerk the glove box out by the lid. Dont worry your not going to brake it. You'll see a white slider on the black cover. jsut remove the cover and the filter are behind it.

I just did this the other day. @ major things to remember:
1. The light is hinged in the glove box. You pull down hard on the right side and hinges on the left.
2. You may have to put a long screw driver up in the top slot to release the box from the car. The picture that was posted shows the tabs and that was my delay.
Other then that its not to hard considering a paper pusher could do it.
