SRS Light is On

Just bought a 98 E320 Wagon and the SRS light came on about two weeks after I brought it home. Any suggestions on where to look first or what the most inexpensive way to find the source is?

Take it too the dealer and have them check the codes. Only then can you find out where to look for problems.

Any updates? Mine (01 wagon) came on for two days starting Friday but now is off however I never have good luck so am assuming it will be back. I'd like to know what you find out.

Very possible it's the wiring on the occupant sensor in the passenger seat.
