You can find lots of info on this by searching under "gauge cluster removal" or "dash lights". I needed help with this same issue a while back and found lots of tips and advice that way. I was able to replace all the bulbs that were bad, and if I remember correctly, the bulbs were only a few bucks each. Skip the dealer, you can do this yourself and save the money.
I did not have to purchase the cluster removal tool, I was able to remove the cluster without it.
Hope this helps.

Search it out, if you're doing it for cosmetics to change the bulb color, I think the gauge face has an amber tint - so your bulbs will never show a true color (if you can even find corrct colored bulbs).

Buy the dash removal tools unless you can get your hands on some super stiff wire or rod - a coat hanger isn't going to cut it if you have a tight one. I tried all sorts of things and it takes a lot of force to yank it out, so again, it's best to have the cheap tools to do it.

Good luck

instrument cluster removal

It is very easy. All you have to do is get two flat head screw drivers and pop it out from the bottom. What you are going to do is feel for the retaining clips. Once the flathead penetrates the clip you can release the cluster by prying it out. You can pull it out in 2 sec.
