Help please!!!!!!
Hi, whats up everyone??
Does anyone know the 1/4 mile time and trap speed of E 320 W210 model?? In my particular case, a 1998 E 320 with 43,xxx miles!?!?!??
The reason why I ask is b/c I was terrified of the 1/4 mile times & trap speed the E 320 achieved at the track tonight!!! No where near what I thought it would get!! A 4 cylinder Camry would have easily walked me!!! LOL
Thats how bad it was!!
I am guessing a normal E 320 would achieve 15.5 @ 91 mph??? Would that be a fair guesstimate??

what kind of times were you getting? 1998+ w210 models should do 0-60 in 6.9 seconds "This new Mercedes-Benz M112 engine produced 221 hp (164 kW) and 229 ft·lbf (310 N·m) of torque and offered a 0-60 mph (98 km/h) of 6.9 seconds."

I made 3 runs!! It was my first time being at the track..!!
First run

I know it was my first time etc etc etc , but 3 seconds slower on average?? and 13+ mph slower????
It was very humid and around 27 C!!
My friend was running his '99 SLK 230 (80,000 miles) with Intake and he was running low 16's @ 86+ mph!! 2 weeks earlier, he was running a 15.3 or 15.4 @ 91 mph!!
This is a 1998 E 320 with 43,xxx miles and it has beaten a 325ci bmw from 30 mph and was dead even with an E90 325i from 80 mph roll till 120+ mph!!
The screen shows that it is due for service!!! I just dont think an oil change or w/e would make the car go 15's!!!
Anyone got an input?? Other than putting the car in the dump yard??

uhm, the only thing that I can think of would be a sluggish maf? I know that when my car was running like that, the maf was messed up, but I didn't have any warning lights on. I brought it to the dealer and they connected it to the computer and told me that the maf was lying. So I went on ebay and bought a maf and now it works how it is supposed to be. I timed 0-60 6.5 seconds, but I don't know the 1/4 mile.

UUumm, just out of curiosity, why on earth would you bracket race a Mercedes? I guess your bracket racing? And your embarrassed with a 75 MPH time? These cars are made for comfort, luxury, and a sign of financial success. Not only that they weigh twice as much as a Jap car. But racing?
An E320 isnt the fastest car but if a 4 cylinder Jap car is faster.................so be it. But that Jap car isnt the quality a Mercredes is. Or is it a Mercedes-Benz. Go race your friends Camaro or Mustang. You'll have a bigger rush...................

I just did it for the hell of it to be honest!! 
My buddy wanted to go and I decided to go for the experience!! And it wasn't a good one at that!!! LOL
I know its not meant to be raced etc etc, just wanted to have a bit of fun! I knew I wasn't going to be running 10's!!!

I was launching with launch control off!!
Track prep was **** and they closed the track at 9 instead of midnight like I was told by the people that go there often.
