You'll ruin your MAS sensor and achieve NO/ZIP/ZERO power benefit.
K&N are 110% hype and less than zero benefit.

I think this around the 47th time I've had to correct this after driving around for almost 110,000 miles on K&N.
you mean the idiots that come into a shop with a failed maf and a brand new factory oiled k/n filter. You have been one of the lucky ones and I hope you remain that way.For 16 bucks I will replace a filter every year and flow more air and not have to throw in a maf insert when it gets damaged.Other shops in the area bmw etc. also rec against k/n,it's fine on my 57 belair but that is a carb car,if you can think back that far.

Plus, the K&N offers absolutly ZERO advantage in any event.
Your Mercedes engine is NOT STRANGLED by the OE air filtering system, and if you believe it is you're a candidate to be sold the Brooklyn Bridge. If you've bought one already, you've been screwed.
The ONLY way an engine will intake more air is to change valve lift/timing, enlarge valves, change displacement, or turbo/supercharge. A mere change of filter--or even taking the filter off--does NOTHING.
