I have searched and searched, but I can not find an iPod adapter kit for my 2000 E Class with Comand. I know it has an AUX in, but that is not a good solution. I need to control it with the Comand controls and have it charge when on. Also it must turn on and off with the ignition. The output of the iPod from the headphone jack is too weak, and you have to turn the volume all the way up to hear it. It needs to connect with the data out port. I have an after market kit for my Jeep liberty, and it works great.
