update: the MB perforated leather isn't noted for being robust and long lasting. over time, leather cracking between
the small holes begin to develop and eventually the leather will fracture. I've seen this with other Designo leather, too.
Unknown how this would have changed if the owner applied good leather conditioner from the beginning though.
