ur cd changer could be in two places

glove box
or
trunk

for the e class, it most probably is in the trunk.

go to the left side of your trunk and the cd reciever should be tucked away there

lift up the cars cover.

slide the black plastic changer cover

and insert your cd magazine(hopefully filled with cd's) there is an arrow to which side should be inserted

as for the phone charger...you dont have to use a mercedes benz branded phone, but it needs to be a motorola phone that can receive that input to charge it(preferably an older phone)

hope this helps!

it could simply be that there was never a cd changer installed in your car. It was an option .

If it isn't in the car, then command will not show it. I did installation of changer myself, so before the car didn't have any changer options in menu, but after installing it started talking about it. What it can be, that changer was installed then removed without proper ending bus loop. Actually I also forget where I put a small connector, so if I sell my car and decide to remove the changer, then I can introduce a similar problem.

I didn't see where moogyz said he had a COMAND module. It is unusual for a W210 to have one, at least in my experience.

Odd, I haven't seen one with. Maybe it is because we are in different parts of the country. My E320 is the only one I have seen with one too.

Phone

I think to have your car work with a phone it is easiest if you have a Motorola v60 cradle w/associated hardware installed. That way you can buy the MB Bluetooth puck and plug it into the old v60 cradle. Then all you need is a MB-approved BT cell phone (I use a Moto RaZr).
