Question Problem, Car Shakes After Being Lowered!

I Just Got My W210 Lowered Today Qt Sonics Motorsports In Santa Clara, Cali. Since I Didnt Know That I Had To Switch The Spring Pads To A Lower Thickness My Car Only Dropped About 1/2 An Inch. Anyway.
- My Car Shakes When Im Taking A Turn Or When I Brake, The Car Was Fine Until They Lowered It.
- I Have 20" Wheels And Used The H&r Spring Set.

The car only dropped half an inch with the springs??? Even if you don't change the pads, it still should have lowered a lil more than that. That pads option is just for a lil more lowering. Are the wheels balanced?

I Never Did Balance The Wheels But Never Had A Problem With Them Before That. I Was Thinking If Maybe The Shop Did Something Wrong.

i'm thinking that is a bad assumption. basically, what we have is your request
to have someone install lowering springs. in effect, you've modified and upset
the balanced suspension....changing the camber, changing the center of
gravity, changing the preload and static sag, etc etc. this isn't a simple
change....despite what you think is a one (really, 4) component swap out.

in a nutshell, the suspension was tuned when it left the factory. for
aesthetic reasons (I assume) you've opted to lower. you've also added
20" rims. what is the offset? did you use spacers? did the spring installer
note the condition of the suspension bushings?

there is no requirement to change spring pads as a result of spring swap.

the static sag will continue to change and needs to settle in over time, eg
a week or so....or couple hundred miles...depending on roads traveled. *then*
the alignment really needs to be checked and adjusted.

I THINK YOU ARE CORRECT MAN, I GUESS IM JUST USED TO LOWERING HONDAS AND ACURAS. NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THOSE TYPE OF CARS. I DO HAVE SPACERS ON THE CAR MAYBE THATS MY ISSUE. ILL LOOK INTO GETTING SOME WHEELS THAT ARE A DIRECT FIT TO THE VEHICLE.
THANKS BRO!
