ASHTRAY door removal?? Please
I have to replace my ashtray cuz dont stay close.How the hell you remove the door.Please any help or any pics. Thanks in advance.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.

The one above the shifter console?remove the wood around the shifter by gently prying up from by the cup holder ,when you have that up you will see two screws at the front up by the ash tray remove them and gently remove the ash tray.clean,grease,and check the assembly for broken parts,probably a loose spring or cam slide.reassemble in reverse order,just be gentle...

Funny about that,I was only kidding you,seems like most of the benz drivers I know don't smoke.Enjoy life to much to mess it up!
