This ole 320 is on its second one in 103tho miles so that is not a bad average for a part that does so much on these modern injection systems. My comment today is this, and I know it has been talked about before,I ordered the bosch insert from germanstar ,bosch box ,bosch part number,$127.00,10 minutes to remove replace and clear the code.Point is why would anyone buy the whole unit for 200 plus when you can save 80-150 bucks off the complete unit? and all your adding to the job is r/r 2 torx screws.

just a ? and a tip

Always good to save a bit of money, most people would rather pay more to avoid the hassle. Personally im with you dude cuz its a simple do it yourself and saves you the bucks. Thanks for the tip!

things with and without wheels
Maybe because some people dont have the tamper proof torx that you need to remove the insert, but that is no excuse for not buying it and still saving money.

When I bought mine, I wasn't aware of inserts. I only paid 160 for an OEM off ebay though.

Smile torx/maf

they are available for $7.00 at schucks/kraggens a whole set from small on up torx with the security dimple fits the maf.one to fit the coil packs to make changing the plugs easier, which is another not to hard job to tackle and save a few hundred over the dealer charges.

The reason it got to me,was either people don't mind tossing money away or they just aren't aware of how much can be saved,One guy recently was asking about a dealer quote that had $550.00 to r/r the maf and clear CEL and reset the ecu to factory specs!Sound like a fancy tech way to say we are going to ream you.
