![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
On driver side of my E-420 (1997) the vanity mirror light don't work.
I remove the assebly and found the broken switch inside vanity mirror assembly.
The light and bulbs are fine the problem is with small micro switch that get activated when ever you open door of vanity mirror.
I remove the switch and look for part number but no A 210 XX XX.
It is blue switch with 2 connector and on actuator that get press when you open lid on mirror. Look like a cheap $5 switch.
I found the part number on it but it mark as "1050" and on side "HS6".
Any one know what is the MB part number so I can order this switch.

I call this morning to dealer and he wanted $250 for whole visor. Stealer can not sell only the switch for vanity light on my 1997 E-420.
Thanks to this Forum, I went to Radio Shack and found same style switch with little longer actuator on it.
Bend back the lever of switch and it fit perfetct.
Radio Shack P/N 275-016A (Submini lever switch) $2.69.
I saved $300![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Not giving MB STEALER MY Dollar is fun.![action](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/action1.gif)
Spending 15 minutes and DIY with saving $300 is PRICELESS

Good for 2001 E-430 Also - Radio Shack P/N 275-016A (Submini lever switch) $2.69 each.
I have also installed in my 2001 E-430 vanity mirror and work great.
I thought the bulbs were bad, NO, it is stupid mini switches.
