my first mod...and those d@mn bulbs!
hi all,
thought the legion of 'bulb' complainers would get a kick out of this one.
i just installed set of clear sidemarkers , kept oem bulbs, took about 2 minutes, put 'em back in, all was well, (and btw, they look sweet. much brighter than ambers) then next morning, started up car and one of my fogs doesn't light up. dagnabit!
havent had a prob in 2 months and 2,500 miles until i did this. this cant possibly be cause, could it? you jiggle a wire on one lamp and another blows?? the lighting system has got to be more robust than that!
my last mb , a 99 w202 had a city light that burned out about once a month by time i let car go. hope i dont look forward to same headache here. oh well, just a little rant.
btw, i have xenons and am considering getting 'white' lamps for city lights and fogs. any word on latest products to recommend?
thanks , j.

unless the side marker lights run off a relay of the fog lights, there should be no correlation.
it may just be a coincidence that this happened. no worries, all light bulbs are covered by the warranty. so, just take the car in, and they'll change the burned out bulbs for you.
