Just came back from a little run at 60 MPH on the highway and was really impressed by the way my A/C was working. External temp read 99 degrees and there is high humidity. I put a high quality thermometer in the left center vent and with the A/C controls set for 70 degrees on both sides, I measured exit air at 39 degrees - a full sixty degrees being knocked off by the system.
Car is 10 years old with original compressor and had the evaporator replaced three summers ago. A/C not touched since then.

I'm seriously happy yours is good. Mine has some UV dye in the system as I just got out of one of the washrooms here at the office...with a blacklight. One of the staff had one...I thought I'd let a little pressure out of my A/C since I overcharged it and tripped th EC light...UV dye went just about everywhere. Underneath the blacklight I look like a human rave...
The moral of the story: If your original system wears out...don't play with that stupid dye without a blacklight handy. It's no fun until you see the mess in all it's glowing glory.

Run the diagnostics first,then make sure you don't have a sensor failure,before you assume it is a leak,no use in having the hilarity that ensues like above,unless you have to!
