Yesterday after we filled her up she started weird and we had a strong Diesel stench penetrating the interior. This morning when my wife drove off I noticed a fairly large pool of fuel in the driveway so I called her to return home immediatly. All I can see is that everything is soaking with fuel on top of the Injection pump. She's taken the car to our MB shop but haven't spoken to her yet. I sure hope it isn't the injection pump itself cuz that will really cost an arm and a leg!

It turned out to be a ruptured return hose coming from the injectors back to the fuel pump. Nothing major, just messy...

Sounds like the delivery valve seals. Post on www.Mercedesshop.com under the diesel forum. I'm sure someone there may give more insight. We don't have that diesel engine here in the US, hence I doubt a lot of feedback....
