Exclamation E430 2001 Advice!!

Hello guys, i was at a auction yesterday with a friend of mine that is a dealer, I picked a E430 4 Matic with only 41K on it, it looked super clean in and out, the engine looked very clean aswell. My friend told me that he can get this car for me for 16.800 $. Is it a good deal? I am not sure how reliable is this car, or how many problems could give me. Any help?? Should I consider it ? My brother wants an Accord for being more reliable but i like the MB better. Wat do you guys think?

Thanks a lot
Mario

Auction

A real dealer would be looking at 13k tops at auction, private party with history of low miles and maint.would be in the 16k range. If you have the cash, look around some more and if you don't need the power a 320 model mint cond. low miles may be a better bet.Where are you located that you need the 4matic?In the rust belt or the snow belt?if you are then the 41000 miles are a moot point at $16800 run don't walk to the nearest exit.Shop around, cool off and let one slip thru your fingers,to pricey for an auction car of unknown origin.
