ASR and ABS lights on

My message center reads ACC. Skid Control with a big ASR. Then the ASR and ABS lights stay on while I drive but there is no apparent difference in the performance, so I assume it is just electrical. Something very similar happened before I replaced the Mass Air Sensor. But that was cured until now. Any connection?

Thanks in advance. You guys are great.

Did you flip

The switch, and turn it off?that is if your model has the switch.
No relation to the maf, that's emissions related, not traction related. Can you find a big empty lot and do a semi panic stop?jab em hard and fast and feel for the pedal shudder.Nice to have all the quick braking ability you need,so check that it's working.Plus without acc you have no cruise control and that's a bummer man!

probably your stoplight switch. Under the steering wheel console area..there's a stoplight switch..it needs to be replaced... that was what my problem was.

Thanks

Thanks guys. I have subsequently seen other threads mentioning the brake switch I will give that a try. Thanks for the help.
