Getting my 320 lowered Friday- question
#1 in front.....with the Eibach springs....should result in a slight forward rake.
in the end, it's a bit of a challenge to predict the exact wheel/tire gap....the
exact height until after your car settles in. why? because the other factors
which contribute to ride height, gap, etc are sway bar, shocks, spring rate,
tire profile etc. with all those factors intermixed, it's just a bit of a guess.
a critical eye will discern something as fine as .25" gap diff so in some cases,
selecting the spring pad beforehand is a crap shoot...and is the final adjustment
made after initial installation. spring pads for 210 are in 4mm increments.
Front
210 321 01 84 5mm
210 321 02 84 9mm
210 321 03 84 13 mm
210 321 04 84 17 mm
210 321 05 84 21 mm
rear
210 325 01 84 5 mm
210 325 02 84 9 mm
210 325 03 84 13 mm
210 325 04 84 17 mm
here is earlier thread...which may help give you an idea what considerations
are involved.
p.s. fronts are traditionally higher than the rear, ie more wheel gap
