my e320 has been in the family since 2000

well..its seen some rough times...

now its in my hands

take a look.. and tell me what i can do to fix this

 

get a new bumper, and repaint the rest of the stuff.

to be honest though, cars will get rock chips and other damage from road debris.

Unless it bothers you THAT bad, Id just try to polish some of the stuff out and be done with it.

 

rust bad, sell car good. if it was free, then drive until dead, otherwise that rust will just get much worse and cost $$$ to fix and paint.

 

If the rust is outside in and not from the inside out,it can be repaired and made to look nicer.chips can be filled sanded and touched up.is bumper dented or just abused?it can be bondo'd and touched up.A little elbow grease and it can be looking very nice.If you need more info on how,ask, and send more picks.A few dollars spent now stopping the rust and making it look nice will preserve some of the little value it has and will let you enjoy her till she's ready to go on.
