Question looking for the amp

Anybody know where i can find the sound system amp. I thought it was in the boot on the left side but I cannot find it. The car is a 320cdi (2000). Standard sound system not the premium Bose system.

Thanks for the reply Ohlord, I'm hoping to find a line in socket to connect an mp3 player. I'm using an FM transmiter device at the moment but it clutters up the interior of the car and the quality is not good.
