Help Please. Engine Electronic Error
Hi guys, I was just driving home from work and suddenly my check engine light turned on. Later when I restarted my car, the computer shows: Check engine, engine electronic. The car has been acting abit awkward lately especially when I turn it on. Few days ago when I turned the car on, it was on "P" with parking brake on, but the car was automatically accelerating and decelerating itself. I didn't touch or turn anything apart from my car on. The car carried on for 30 seconds then went back to normal again. 10 years never had this problem. All w210ers, has anyone ever experienced something like this in the past? If so, please advise. Thank you for your time. Thanks!

Hey
Know we pulled your leg on the whole tommy c/f thing, but when a member is in need all kidding is aside.
what year, how many miles?
you don't have a harbor freight tools up there so you can buy the obd2 scanner but if you are down here just south of everett you can stop in and borrow mine,if not go to the local chain auto parts store up in v and see if they read codes for free.get them read and post em here or pm me.As long as the light is not blinking at you (that would be one to not keep driving)if it is on solid, could be several things, but we need the code or codes first. No reason to guess, and no reason to go to the dealer or shop, get the codes, you can fix it.
