And by what %
I know that side and back no problem (Here in Canada 30%)
but no idea about the front... I haven't seen tinted windshield over here..
Any of you know ?

It is lilgal in most states. I am debating doing my front widshield 50% most cops cannot tell. I have 20% on the back window and back sides with 30% up front. Cops in Georgia are cracking down in ilegal tent the law is 35% for front side windows.

or about, different states vary. Some good tint web sites have each state allowed tints etc.
I would not do the whole front window in any transmission value,no matter how good the tint, they are all not perfectly optically clear. Will give you one hell of a headache!!!!![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)

why would you want to tint the front windshield? you'll barely be able to see the road at night lol. Here in Cali only rear windows may be tinted..limo % if you want...but no front windows may be tinted. I know cuz I got caught before :p

Ohlord is right, I used to have a tint shop way back in the day and all tints that I've seen so far are not 100% optically clear and therefore will cause eye strain over time. IMO, I wouldn't put anything on the windshield, not even the "eyebrow" tint as we call it.

Well, I don't think 50% would be a big problem...
There's some cars coming with all windows tinted... I know that if your car is coming tinted by the factory theres no problem...
43fatman can you post a pic of yours to check the side tint :P
tnx

People that have cataracts or light sensitive eyes are prescribed with these large tinted plastic glasses that protect their eyes from bright light, especially the sun. You will normally see elderly people wearing these huge glasses which look kind of spacey. I'm sure you've seen these around...

Nope, the Dr. will perscribe those full tinted plastic glasses and would not prescribe the tint on the car, at least in CA that is.

keep in mind a layer of tint will convert your windshield from a safety glass, breakable material into a brick wall. if for some unexcusable reason you had somebody in your car not wearing a seatbelt and somebody came across the yellow line, they'd have a pretty slim chance of surviving. Probably not the best idea on the sides either for that reason - but it didn't stop me

Here are a some from the side. 20% back 30% front when my rear shade is up you cannot see in from the rear at all. And 50% is really not that dark at all if you did not know your would probably not think twice about it. One main reason for tinting mine was to keep the car cooler in the summer Black on Black.

lucky you all that live in the South..there's no way we can even tint the front windows..just the rear...limo if you want. I had only 35% on my mustang's doors before...and the popo got me alright....fugger haha. I know even North Carolina you can't tint the fronts because back in the days some cop got shot from a tinted driver's window just cracked open enough to stick the gun out.
