'01 E430 4-matic tire replacement recommendations please..
Time for a full swap out of my old tires. The car currently has POS Champiros and it rumbles on any non super smooth road. I'm looking for an all-season tire that is reasonbly priced and rides super smooth. Not looking for no corner carver here just very quiet and smooth. Got a few recommendations of the Falken Ziex 512's and the Contiprocontacts, but after looking them up on tirerack and discounttire i dunno. I am running the factory 17" wheels. Thanks

'04 Silverado Z71 - sold all my Benzes and need another!
I loved my Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires on my stock wheels. Super quiet with great wet or dry traction and nice handling. Don't know what they cost because the guys I bought my E from threw them on brand new for me. Check out my recent tire thread that I posted about a good tire source called Tire Central. Give Donald a call and see what he can do.

Going to run
snow tires?Where are you located?Michelin primacy or ps2 and alpin for winter months. All can be ordered at tirerack or costco.
mxm4 all season.may be your best all around choice avail in 245 45 17.
Make sure of your inflation pressure, not only affects handling, gas mileage but also noise level.

I'm in jersey and forgot to mention i'd like to keep the price under $120 a tire if that is possible. Looking to sell the car in the near future but don't wanna put crap on there for the next guy either.

Thanks, ohlord. Yes, several of us are looking for rust free W210s at the right price.
ohlord, I did not have a chance to contact you while in Seattle. It also rained a couple times and was busy with business.

I run 18inch Dunlop SP9000 tires (275/35/18 in the back!) in summer, and 18inch Pirelli Snowsport 240 tires in winter. Best of both worlds. Actually, the Pirelli snow's handle better than many allseason tires lol![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
I did run on Hankook Ventus HRII allseason tires on my old car, and was very happy with them. Also like Kumho ASX. Very quiet, comfy ride.
