2001 E320 Wagon
W210: E320 Wagon - Coolant Temp Sensor
I've ordered a new coolant temp sensor for my 2001 E320 Wagon. Where is this sensor located on the engine. A diagram, good explanation, or picture would be much appreciated.

Sensor Location
It is located at the top/front of the engine. If you pop off the plastic engine cover, you will see it at the top/front of engine just left of center. If you have trouble spotting it, let me know. I can post a picture.
BTW, the reason I changed mine was to help solve a stalling problem when engaging the transmission when the engine is cold. Unfortunately, the new sensor did not help.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Check all
your vacuum lines to the intake.You can test a coolant temp sensor instead of installing a new one just to see if it cures a problem.

some other likely suspects
