oil leak

hello everyone my 95 e320 has a oil leak coming down on the right side of the block by my altn. any idea. car run great has 150,000 miles on it

you will get better answers by posting in the w124 section, since yours is a w124. hopefully your leak is from the timing cover, but could be from the headgasket also. do a search on "m104 oil leak" and you will find all the info you need. no big worries though, it;s an external leak usually, and if it's not leaking bad, you can live with it for a long time.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
ppg 4 and 9

confirm leak location.
change to conventional oil if you are on synthetic(this advice only for the m104)
change oil and filter more frequently.and keep an eye on loss due to leak
Do the diy
head gasket set for the whole top end is about 50 bucks
head bolts and washers are about 5 bucks each and you need about 14 I think.
