HID fogs..
I guess it's me again! Go to http://www.visionbulbs.com/vb_product.php?id=8 and punch in "E46FANDSCT" to get 15% off. I paid 170 shipped to my home. I got their 6000k and it compliments great with my 4300K headlights. It has a slight hint of blue and give a true white color. IMO, 8000k will be kinda ricey (no offense) and dim in the rain. It is more for look and show rather than perform.

quick answer: https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....07&postcount=7
I did this HID setup for my fogs. I had Zam's retro fit headlights...
Also, I realized that if you turn on your lights after you cranked the engine, it would not trigger the bulb out message. I believe it has to do with the amout of power that the HID draw from the alternator which triggers errors without engine on....
