Dash light behind outside temp indicator is out.

Sure doesn't seem like something easily replaced by a novice like me or is it?

I have same issue, even bought the tools to pull the instrument cluster but have not had the time. Looked up the link and that has lots of info, but nothing on the aforementioned topic.

I had to get those lights from the dealer ship. I wonder if anyone knows of any LED lights that will replace the whole cluster lights. that would be cool

diy for w124 much the same,just no speed cable to disconnect.If you do a search on benzworld.org w210 section there is a whole recent thread on cluster repair or dead pixels and it has more info.
some people have even managed to wiggle it out without the aid of the hooks.
