I had to disconnect the battery to replace my motor mounts. When I reconnected, the windows don't go up automatically when you press down hard. What do I have to do to reset them??

1998 E320 (W210) USA version.

all the windows and sunroof.Hold the switch in the all the way up position for a few seconds like 10 seconds and the sunroof hold after closed for a few seconds.It's been so long since I put a battery in a w210 I forget how long to hold exactly,but give it a try.The procedure is also in the manual,did you enter the radio code if required?You may also need to turn the steering wheel all the way left to all the way right to center the steering wheel angle sensor and reset the abs esp lights if they were triggered.

You may also have to resync your power seats as well.

I got the windows and sunroof reset. How do I resynch the seats???? Is this a probable reason why my passenger side only goes forward regardless of which way I push the seat button??

yes, run the seat all the way forward and hold for 5sec then run it all the way back

Is that why the girl in you picture is crunched up against the dash with her feet up on it?

You have to push the switch all the way forward and hold for 10 seconds.
