1998 E320 RockerArm Issue
Another issue. Supposedly the rocker arm assembly is rusted out and has to be replaced, are there any silent recalls on this? The dealer is giving me crap on that its not their problem. Clady appreciate some info on this problem.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
What is
rusted?the shaft is high nickel ss the rockers are ss rollers in low-friction, roller-tip aluminum rocker arms, bathed in nice clean synthetic oil if the engine had been properly maintained.Old flat head fords were prone to rust on the rocker assembly not the M112 or the M113.Something is wrong with that engine
No recalls no silent recalls no TSB's I could locate. You are way out of warranty how would you expect the dealer to cover it?Why did you go to a dealer in the first place
If the rocker assembly is rusted a full diagnosis of the engine is needed.Plugged oil passages, burnt valves, blown head gasket. How is that much moisture getting into the engine, and what is rusted?
