e320 4matic p0302 fault code
I'm a new member, and I need some help. Car's been trouble free so far, My obd gave a p0302 reading, according to the internet is a misfire in #2 cyl. Could this be as simple as a plug change or a faulty coil on #2. It was raining and nasty at the time. Car has 53K miles. Please shead some light. Thanks John

That is the second cylinder up the pass side bank of the engine.
Pop off the engine cover, reach in with the engine cool and off and make sure the wires are firmly popped onto the plugs.Start the engine and see if the code clears. If not run a can of seafoam injector cleaner through a tank of gas.See if that clears it.If not swap that coil and wires to the next cylinder and see if the problem moves with it.If it does ,check the wires,if it does not check the plug.
Most likely it is a loose wire![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

ohlord, its the simple things I overlooked! I took your advice and switched the coil from #1 to #2 cyl, and the fault code stayed with #2 cyl. I then switched the plug wires from #1 to #2 and falt code moved to #1 cyl. I ordered a new set of plug wires and upon installation I anticipate a smooth running wagon. Thanks for your help. John
