Urgent info / help needed.
I am looking at a 430 wagon and was looking for any info on this car.
I'm well aware of the bodywork issues (especially here in the uk) but need some pointers on engine / mechanicals.
It's done 162,000 miles.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
We never got the 430 wagon here
but the rest are all common issues with the model.
Inspect for rust,body,shock towers.Check all the lights work,all bulbs fog and dash cluster pixels
run the a/c diagnostics http://www.eclassbenz.com/node/27
check maint records.
Has the trans fluid and filter been changed with mb spec fluid?
Run a compression test
inspect all suspension items,bushings ,shocks bent control arms etc.
if you are not an avid do it yourself type make note these w210's are easy to maintain yourself but if you need to take it into a shop for all the work it will get expensive

this is a general list and if a car is well bought most of these items never come to pass

Looking at another with 102K miles, no rust! Full MB service history.
