mechanic know how to do this: I need to removal the plastic electronic box, passenger side in motor compartment near firewall. All the electonic boxes are in this plastic case. I can removal all of them except for the one nearest the back of box. This one has large guage wires. A large metal clasp on on side for connector removal. The left side of case has a plastic push release but the lower right part of box seems to have a special catch. How do I release the card-box, and remove the wire connectors. The rat is under or inback of the final plasting holding case. It stinkith and mu wife will kill me if I can't remove it. HELP

You should remove the entire housing...
and check the wiring harness. There have been many reports posted in on-line fora of rodents gnawing on the wiring and causing all sorts of issues.
The "aroma" could end up being the least of your problems...
Good luck,
JR
