I Need Helpp

Hey everyone ive been looking at this forum for a little while now. I have a 01 E430 or W210 as yall say. ^^

Im planning to get some H.I.D.s for my headlights and i cant remember what the main headlight sizes are the two outside ones not the smaller inside ones.
If anyone could tell me that would be great, im thinking they are H7s but im not sure, so please could yall help?

And by the way my headlights keep fogging up on the outside. Any idea how to fix or clean? everytime i wipe them off after i give the car a nice wash it the fog comes back on in a lil while so yeah.

And im new to this so yeah im at school right now and i can post pics later of my car
we have a 01 E430 / 07 S550 / 01 996 TT =) / Titan

Also what all can I do to gain some more power?

I believe it's H7 but confirm in your owners manual.

Conversion must be done right or you'll fry some of the electronics. So do your research before you order something off of eBay.

Headlight lenses can be repolished to look almost as good as new. If they are just a little dull (cloudy) try Mequiar's Plastic-x. If they are really bad you'll have to wet sand them with successively finer grits of wet/dry sandpaper until they are smooth and clear and then treat with something like Plastic-x. There are kits on the market which have everything you need -- such as Micro-Surface.

Or you can buy replacement lenses and get back to as new.

Yeah thats what im thinking they are H7s im ordering good HIDs not though cheap sylvania BS haha, Thinking about ordering some McCulloch 12K (deep purple) and my E430 is the pewter color? tanish silver

You can't

just stick hid's into stock housings,they were not built for that

and don't even install 12k in hids...First off, it looks tacky/ricey. Second off, with the higher K, your light output decreases.

12K will look cheap and almost a crazy purple color. Also like Ohlord mentioned you just can't add the HID/Xenon bulb..... you will need the assembly, ballast and the right bulbs....do some search for Zam Depo's....any option you go with be preapred to spend between $700-$1200.

12000K would look Clean. BTW i can put the H7 bulbs into the stock sockets. Plannin to drop the car and maybe go for a black paintjob, and some rims if i keep the car.
