Cluster problem

Please can somebody help me how to remove cluster and exchange lamp (or diode) for clock? There is some problem and clock is not lighting so bright as it should be (you can see it on the picture). Thanx.

If

pixels are not dead and it is only the back lighting pull the cluster either with hooks made of stiff wire per diy on benzworld.org w210 diy section or you can press a few suction cups to the lens and gently pull towards you then remove the bulb and replace it,dealers have the bulbs or order from autohausaz.com.
the cluster just gets pressed back into place by pushing it in and gently pressing the edges to seat it in place.
some dealers sell the hooks but they are easy to make.
more info can be found by searching w210 dash cluster removal

He

makes it sound far more difficult then it really is.

some peeps have managed to use a plastic wedge to wiggle it out enough to get a finger hold.
one of those body shop suction cups sold at the local auto parts store, wet with water and gently twist and pushed onto the plastic will pull it out gently.
