Abs/esp

I recently had both lights turn on and the result was the cruise control did not work. After I came to a stop and turned the car off and let it sit for 10 minutes the warnings went off and havent came on after that day. Is that a huge problem or just a fluke. There was a little snow on the ground and I asked a mechanic about it and he told me that its possible for snow to get under a car and screw with the wiring for a breif moment with no major harm done. Just looking for some input... thankyou

Sounds to me like a brake switch that is intermittent. An inexpensive repair. Your car may have the faults stored and an accurate diagnosis can be obtained by a dealer interrogating the computer with the Star system.

Brake light switch...

Yes i can agree with ohlord. I just had the same with my brake switch, i went on e-bay and bought an OEM one for about $15.00 shipped. Check it out.
