Brake pads

I have a quick question. My signal just came on that the brake pads needs to be replaced. It does not say though, whether front or rear. How do I find out? Also, what is the best source for the brake pads? I checked the sticky for how to replace the pads, but wondered about some recommendations as far as the pads brand. Thanks

The rear brakes do have a sensor. I think it is only the right side, rear brake that has the sensor. Both front brakes have sensors.

If you DIY this job, make sure you purchase/use the MB brake pad paste. If not, the brakes have a tendency to squeal.
