one vs two pin brake pads

does this mean I need 1 pin brake pads? I've seen a number of DIY write ups
but don't recall specifically the 'pin' being pointed out. I have 99 E320 and
thinking I'd use Dubya's stimulus rebate to get pads. OEM ones I have now
generate too much brake dust. tnx for any tips (anyone have pic of a
two pinner?)
