repair manual?
I am looking for a manual for my '97 E320...tired of paying to have small things fixed by the shop I could take care of with better info... I have searched Amazon etc. for Haynes or Chilton manuals but no luck so far. Any suggestions?

Your chassis is a W210. You can purchase a Model 210 Service Manual DVD from 1-800-FOR MERCEDES about $150 plus s&h. There are CD's on eBay which are much less expensive but buyers have complained that they are very inadequate. Bear in mind that the factory service DVD assumes you have some auto mechanic experience. There are also DIY posts for various routine maintenance issues on:

and when you can't find a diy on the forum, by using the search function on one of our members web site he put together you can often locate something of assistance.
