Rearview mirror removal?

I'm sending my rearview mirror out to get the V1 display etched in it. I searched the site and it appears the rearview just pulls straight down with a lot of force. There was a link to an edsoto video on how to remove it but the link is dead.

Can anyone here post that video or offer some more advice on rearview removal. I'm sure its not too complicated but it is an expensive part and it would suck to mess it up.

Thanks

Got it out. Pretty easy actually. Just grabbed the mirror mount (not the actual mirror part) back by the rain sensor and pulled down with a slight twist towards the drivers side (I was sitting in the Pass side) it popped right loose without too much effort. I then realized I needed to remove the map light to disconnect the wiring connections to the mirror. All in all less then 5 minutes total time.

Mine is loose and sometimes swaying especially when braking. I just need to tighten it. Did you take any pictures?

No pics. Removing it is pretty easy just like everyone said. However there is nothing to tighten when you do remove it. When I was searching for how to remove it I searched all the forums (ML, CLK, etc) and found more posts. The other MB mirrors are very similar to ours. There were a few posts showing how to tighten loose mirrors. Basically you have to separate the two halves that hold the glass on and inside there are some metal clips that break loose from the plastic. If you search all forums for keywords mirror removal rearview remove etc you should find some good info.
