Comand 2.0 backlight problem

Hi dear,

i've got a problem with my comand 2.0. The display got dark after a few seconds after i connected it. The Backlight went. The brightness which i had bevore is not available anymore.
I've disconnected it and connected it again - resetted it - set it to factory default - but no chance. Its still without the usual brightness.

Does anyone has an idea ? Please help me ... Thanks in advance.

Best regards

Ümit

Hi thanks for your efforts. But the problem is i think not the ribbon cable.
A very friendly member of Mbworld told me that this could be the inverter
of the lcd screen. But i don't really know how to repair that...
Enclosed there are two pics of the actual situation. As mentioned the brightness has gone... Did someone had the same problem here and how did he solved it ?

Best regards

Hi. I have problem with my climate control back lights. I did replace the bulbs but nothing. I am just wandering if there is a fuse responsible for back lights or some sort of reset procedure. Also if some one know what would be a wire color what brings power for back lights on climate control unit.
