Cd changer for sale OEM w210

Works great from 97 E420. Just really want to unload extra parts. 100.00 obo, plus shipping, and please send back my CD's; yes, I installed an ipod etc. and forgot to remove my discs before disconnecting harness! You can have the becker head unit for free also, but the volume control knob is wonky.

1999 E320
Have you sold the cd changer yet? Do you know if it would be compatible with a 99 E320? I have the Becker head unit with the integrated phone...prewired for cd changer. Also, do you have the owner's manual?

Thanks

the changer from 97 will not likely work for your 99. where the 97 utilizes
traditional analog connectivy, your 99 is D2B fiber optic compliant. as such
the changers suitable for 1999 should be models MC3198, MC3010, and MC3110.

I really don't know which years it will fit, but I can say it is not fiber optic rather basic wiring. Hope that helps and good luck.

Wiring

I've looked in the trunk once and only saw one cable that appeared to be coaxial in nature. I was reluctant to pull out much of the lining b/c I didn't know where the attach points were and didn't want to damage anything. Although my car is a 99 it has a late 98 production date so may not be D2B. I'll try to investigate further. Thanks for the info.

no problem, was just hoping to pass along a useable part and also supplement some of the cost of my whole new system.
