Error code p0161
Hi, newbie here! Searched the forum and just wanted to double check before I order parts. Thanks to this forum I went ahead and bought a code scanner. My check engine light is NOT on but when I plugged it in I got the following code:
P0161
O2 Sensor Heater
Circuit Malfunction
Bank 2 Sensor 2
So, I'm taking this to be a bad sensor right?
I'm guessing I should purchase the sensor and replace, yes?
If you can point me in the right direction and let me know any additional tools I might need to complete or anything else I need. Also if any one has pictures or a diy thread they could point me to for this particular sensor.
I'm new to the whole Benz DIY but fairly handy otherwise.

sensor drivers side engine.Get it on a ramp you will see the sensor aft the cat: wires going to a bung fitting on the pipe. Warm engine slightly like 10 minutes and get an o2 sensor from autohausaz.com and if they don't send o2 anti seize get it from a store to coat the few threads at the point farthest away from the tip.O2 socket at any auto parts store get it after you get the sensor as there are different sizes.
Easy diy.
