A/C RE-CHARGE

I have a 1999 E-320 and need to re charge the system. Does anyone know how many ounces of referigerant it takes.

1 kilo/2.2lbs.

Is a sticker on the passanger side computer box.

It needs to be evacuated under vacuum to "know" that everything is out before putting in new stuff. Otherwise you may as well use a can for dummies from Walmart. It also needs a receiver drier if its been open.
