Light will not come on.
Greetings All,
My rear roof passenger light will not come on regardless of the switch position. I removed and checked the bulb. It appears to be fine. All other lights work fine. Any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

check to see if you are getting power with the light switched on at the plug with a mm

I checked and there is definitely a current going to the dome light itself. The filament in the bulb is intact as well. I hoping the bulb is just faulty. Thats the cheapest fix.

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Dome
light 6411 bulb,if you checked power to the socket,switch the multi meter to ohms and test the bulb for continuity.

if you're getting 12 volts at the socket then the light bulb is bad.

I put in a new bulb and PRESTO---LIGHT!!


Something so simple was out of my league without the help and knowledge of the various forums. I have the mechanical expertise of the "Valvoline Monkey".
