I want that new car feeling again!
Okay, so I've got the car looking almost new again this weekend. Now I want to get the new car feeling back. My 01 e430 has 115k miles.
It squeeks and rattles too much for a Mercedes. Just over bumps and such. On the highway of course, dreamy.
Anyway, here's a short list of things I've dug up.
New shocks - I want smoothest ride, maybe the Monroe Sensetrac?
New bushings for swaybar.
New ball joints.
I've already replaced motor mounts. BIG DIFFERENCE!
Anything else you all can recommend?
This needs to be DIY for cheap dummies. The 4 above things seem to be within my scope and budget.
