O2 Sensor

Hello,
My Check engine light has been on, and when I hooked up the OBD tool, it read
P0150, which I found out to be the Pre-cat 02 sensor.
Dealer wants $192 for the parts, and 140 for labor.

Is that a fair price ? Does anyone know of a mechanic in Chicago
that could do it for a more reasonable cost? I travel to chicago
areas often.

If someone can make a recomendation in those areas, I will even buy them lunch or dinner!

Thanks

Khaiser

Thats Rediculous!!!!

Dont pay that much - you can order the O2 sensor from Autohuaz AZ ($104 LF / $100 RF w/ free shipping over $50), by a O2 sensor socket from your local autoparts store (roughly 6 bucks), PB blaster - 4 bucks, extensions and torque wrench (torque value is 55nM)....DIY and still under what the dealer charges for service alone.

Thanks,
How do I know if it is LF or RF?

I don't have the time to really do it myself, and I am not that
goods with hands on stuff.

If anyone in the Chicago area wants to do it for me, I will pay them, and we can
even go out for drinks afterwards, on me!!

Thanks
