depo light issue
the barrel, aftermarket, automotive lighting and accessories manufacturer.
they're not known for a la carte parts, but more like quick sell of inexpensive
parts and assemblies.
you can writing to a distributor and see if they can help. http://maxzone.com/
i've not seen Depo outer/plastic lens sold as a replacement part. that would be
nice if it were available, given the weathering and beating the lens takes....
which is why many owners will put something like 3M protective, et al, cover
over it.
i'm not quite understanding what chrome piece is discolored....
The entire head light unit, including the inner small oval, looks old. The internal chrome surrounding the projector lens, and the entire head light. If you look at headlights, you can notice underneath the lenses, they usually have some detailed lines or design - probably of no function. Compared to the passenger lamp, bought at the same time- when the sunlight or anylight hits it, it does not have nearly the reflection or "clean" look and you cannot notice the detailed lines, as you can the other lamp. I was actually going to go with a more expensive brand or more comparative to OEM cost but read all over these forums of DEPO quality. Should have followed my instincts and still better than the cloudy OEMs I had on, it is just principle!
